Danielle Schow

Welcome to Little Dreamers Preschool! My name is Danielle, and I am thrilled to be the founder of our little community. With my background in Elementary Education, and experience teaching 6th grade in Cache County School District for 4 years, I have a passion for helping children learn and grow in a fun, engaging environment.

I am a certified Elementary Education teacher, graduating from Utah State University in 2008. From 2004-2008 I managed a group home at Chrysalis here in the valley. Helping take care of people with a wide range of disabilities. I had the opportunity to work closely with behavior specialists, learning to write behavior plans, for individuals within the program. This experience shaped the way I would teach in the future.  I learned you cannot fit every child in the same mold, and you need to be flexible and get to know each Childs needs as an individual.  I  stayed at home taking care of my 4 kids from 2012-2024.  I homeschooled my kindergartner, third grader and fifth grader during 2020-2021 school year.  I  was the PTO President at Birch Creek Elementary School here in Smithfield for 2 years.  My dream came true in 2024 when I opened Little Dreamers Preschool. Teaching preschool is my passion.  I put 110% into this preschool each and every day.

As  a mother of four myself, I understand the importance of creating a safe, nurturing space where children can thrive. When I'm not at Little Dreamers, you can find me on the slopes snowboarding and skiing, or planning my next vacation to somewhere with a beach.
